Today I was honored to be featured on the WSA, Women Speaker Association, premier show. What does it mean to live vibrantly? I believe your circle of influence says a great deal about whether you are living a vibrant life. Think about these two scenario questions. The first one, do you have people in your life who text or call you and you are excited to read or answer the call? These are usually people who actually ask how you are doing, deeply care about you and fill your heart with encouragement. They have no hidden agenda in reaching out to you. The second, do you have people in your life who text or call you that you sigh (maybe even roll your eyes) and contemplate answering? We’ve all been there! These are usually people who have something to complain about, negative, filled with drama and/or always needing something from you.
I find when I surround myself with people who pour life into me, encourage me and believe the absolute best for me, I thrive vibrantly. Even when bad days or heartache come, they are the ones I turn to first. When you allow negativity to seep into your life, it consumes your thoughts and focus. I encourage you to find people who will fill your cup and turn to the one who will fill it to overflowing, Jesus!
John 10:10 says, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” Do you know that if you are not living a rich and satisfying life, you need to think about what is robbing your thoughts, stealing your joy and killing dreams and desires within you? Learn to let go of negative and defeating thoughts and those in your life who are constantly emptying your cup. You were destined and designed for greater purpose.
As Rachel White shared on the show today with Laura and I, have self-awareness of your thoughts and actions too.
Choose to be a blessing and encouragement to those around you. Fill your cup so you can fill others. Keep going strong and never look back, better days are ahead of you!
